Every year, many visitors arrive here in Europe's leading spa resort for skin conditions, despite its relatively remote location deep in the French department of Vienne. Officially granted public benefit status as long ago as 1869, the dermatological expertise of La Roche-Posay has been fuelled by another world-famous brand: L'Oréal. The estate also boasts a golf course and a Michelin-starred restaurant, and the spa operator was looking for a substantial and reliable investor to acquire the assets represented by two hotels, a restaurant and a spa. The purpose of the sale was to establish the operator as a pure player in the spa market. Getting together with an exceptional entrepreneur, acquiring the real estate assets and generating a significant yield... What could be a better combination for making great deals?
